This rare women's general hat find is made from 100 percent and has had all the patch work removed which is customary for an individual after retiring form the army.

The inside number string authenicates it from 1970 or from the Vietnam war. (thanks to a fellow ArtFireian)

As a avid collector of vintage military I have never come across a woman's hat ...period. let alone in this good of condtion. the inside rim has plastic lining while the outside Kelly green taffeta with a black ribbon around the inside head band.
