This stylish hat of black and white from the 1940s is made from very soft crushed velvet, white crinkle leather and a thick 3 inch silk black ribbed ribbon.
The outer rim of the hat has wire to shape and form the brim. The inside is lined with black netting ( for cooling the head ) and the top velvet piece is sewed in such a way as to give in the shape of each head, it changes it's form.
A true beauty and lovely find.
