I love painting on large scale canvas. My work is typically more dark. Yet, this is bright and hopeful. It is my newest work and one of my favorites.

Papers from high end fashion magazines were used and I scratched into thick multi layered paints "Love Yourself"

This painting was done while I was helping the Women's Community Center. I learned how many women have issues with loving themselves. So many are buys care taking friends and family, leaving them selves forgotten, myself included.

I painted this to remind others and myself to love yourself first so you have something to give, from the roots of ones despair we can rise to beautiful flowers.
