Lovely example of high Victorian fashion this piece is loaded with details. may have been a wedding top. Remember they got married in black. The front bodice is filled with all black glass beads and silk details. Beautiful lace collar and tiered lace sleeves. all the hook and thread eyes appear to be present, waist ties etc.

I purchased this item from a ladies fashion museum in 2006 .They knew I was to open a vintage clothing store and called me graciously. a very rare and unusual findz.

Condition read policies fair to fixer upper, this is very old and fragile
