Sweet Basil is a wonderful herb that we grow during the summer months. It is wonderful in the garden and in the kitchen. The scent is released as one touches the leaves. It is makes a delicious pesto and is great in fresh salads, along with fresh tomatoes. It grows nicely in the garden alongside the tomato plants and loves the sun.



These seeds are taken from my 2008 crop which was grown organically and open pollinated. The packet contains 50 seeds.

I love sweet basil in the garden and in my kitchen. One of my favorite dishes is baked chicken with basil pesto. I look forward to the summer, where I can take some photos of my sweet basil growing to add to this listing.
