Our Monoi lotion butter bar is is filled with nourishing butters and oils to make it super rich and moisturizing. As it touches the body, it gently melts on the skin. Rub it on your hands or anywhere that needs a little extra moisture.

The shea butter is a creamy fair trade, unrefined and virgin shea which is rich in vitamins and nutrients. Mango butter is obtained from the fruit kernels of the mango tree and has been traditionally used for its skin-softening, moisturizing, soothing, and protective properties. The wonderful, yet gentle scent of this lotion bar comes from the Monoi de Tahiti oil which is precious and exotic cosmetic oil made from natural coconut oil which has been infused with Gardenia Tahitensis blossoms. Jojoba oil is one of nature's most precious moisturizers. A touch of arrowroot powder has been added to improve the feel.

The lotion is enclosed in a reusable and refillable tin, making it very portable and convenient for travelling. As usual, no artificial colors, fragrances or preservatives are used in my product.

We have fragrant gardenia flowers blooming in our back yard. The scent mixes with the wind and smells lovely. These are not the very same flower as is used in the Monoi de Tahiti oil, but is very similar. The solid bar is lightly scented and easy to use and very portable, fitting nicely into a purse or pocket.
