When I started making jewelry back in the "olden days", I didn't have much of a budget for tools. So I made things that could be made with only a few pairs of pliers and some wire cutters.

This style of stone setting is very popular among lapidary fans because they can have the unusual cabochons they've just purchased at a rock and gem show, set right there while they watch, allowing them to wear them home.

This is one of the prettiest samples of Ocean Jasper I've come upon. It has gentle shades of pastel Blue and Cream.

The pendant is about 2 1/4 inches high, including the bail.
