Ancient Kauri is an incredible old-growth timber from New Zealand which has the extraordinary distinction of being a pre-historic wood and certified between 20,000 - 50,000 years old based on modern carbon dating techniques. The wood is harvested from a naturally felled forest at the end of the last ice-age, which was preserved underground in a chemically balanced environment that prevented its petrifaction, preserving the wood in-tact.



To wield this wood is to seek understanding through deep and ponderous introspection over a prolonged time. This wood especially signifies the gaining of insight and learning with age.



Every wood is individually researched for its metaphysical and conventional properties and lore which is included with each purchase. All wands include a Certificate of Authenticity, wand-bag for safe storage and a full page describing the metaphysical properties, lore and general information about the wood.
