This large, beautiful Book of the People is about 9x12" and is entirely handbound. The pages are a delicious raspberry pink with rose petals inlaid, all hand torn and sewn before being bound into a luciously bright cover of japanese silk screen and marbled paper.



The spine has been cross braided with sparkling ribbons embellished by silk flowers. On the cover are the words "An Leabhar" situated among flowers and jewels, lined with a fancy pink and black celtic trim. Branches of sparkling pink berries frame the top and bottom borders.



Inside the book has four ribbon bookmarks and is lined with an irridescent pinkish-purplish paper and trimmed with printed satin ribbon. The book is signed by the artist in the back.
