Beautiful African Krobo beads in shades of blue and green are the focal point of the unique bracelet. The Krobo beads are alternated with black onyx beads. The bracelet is finished with a TierraCast toggle clasp.

This bracelet is approximately 7-3/4" in length.

Krobo beads are made by hand from recycled glass which has been ground up in a large mortar and pestle and then fired using traditional techniques in open-sided, thatch-roofed huts. After the original bead is fired, it is cooled and washed. Then the bead maker begins the process of painting his highly individualized designs using items like twigs as a brush. After each color is applied, the beads are re-fired. These beads can have as many as five or six different colors on them.

The TierraCast clasp is made from culinary grade pewter and electroplated with fine silver and copper. TierraCast is known for its high quality.
