Product Description
DNA Spiral NECKLACE tutorial. PRICED REDUCED ON THIS TUTORIAL TO MOTIVATE ME TO DESIGN SOME NEW STUFF! This class was originally taught at TLD Design Center and Gallery, and at 1 Stop Bead Shop. It has not been taught anywhere else and for now will only be offered up at a reduced price here. Currently, it is at 22 pages long with information on technique, color design and photos of finished pieces with discussions on why the designs do (or don't) work! I went a little bit overboard here. This shows how to create the lavendar necklace, but there is also a short discussion on how to create the red necklace and the rainforest spiral. Also... can you see the chain on that rainforest spiral? Fringe isn't completely necessary in your piece, unless you're obsessed like I am. This tutorial is for INTERMEDIATE BEAD WEAVERS. It requires that you only are comfortable with a beading needle and thread. I'll show you all the rest! We discuss a basic fringing technique, the DNA spiral chain (its a strong finished piece, but unlike "dutch spiral" which is based off peyote/twill stitch, this is super easy), and some color theory in this tutorial, since this is not a cookie-cutter tutorial. I show how to create the lavendar piece in the photo, but you'll be able to create your own piece, in your own color combinations. Originally this design was created to use a bunch of leftovers I had sitting around my house; I still create these pieces out of what I refer to as "bead soup."
