Embroidered & Peyote Stitched Eye Cabochon Pendant TUTORIAL. A lot of cultures believe that wearing an eye pendant can ward off the effects of jealousy from other people. I just sort of thought that these guys would be cool to make. Instruction packet shows bead embroidery, even count round peyote, optional eyelid design (shown on the hazel eyes) in flat decreasing odd-count peyote, picot stitch and very basic fringing techniques. This instruction packet is for INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED beaders. Color photos and graphs. Does not show the exact pattern for the fringe. Prerequesite is a working knowledge of even count flat peyote stitch. The level of this tutorial is 3.5 out of 5.
