I created this beautiful lariat necklace of gunmetal plated flattened drawn cable link chain and accented it with pale turquoise colored glass pearls. I have used gunmetal plated headpins with ball ends to wire wrap each pearl individually to the chain.

The necklace is just over 40.5 inches (102.9cm) The pearls are 8mm in size.

I have shown two different ways that you can wear this necklace. In picture #2, my mannequin Molly is wearing the necklace with a simple knot tied in the midst of the pearls. The pearls will hold the knot exactly where you tie it.

In picture #3, Molly shows the necklace worn as a shorter lariat. The middle of the necklace is placed at the front of your neck, then wrap the necklace around your neck and back to the front. Now tie a knot and you have a shorter necklace. You may want to catch the chain from the 1st wrap in the knot you tie, so that the necklace knot stays in place.
