This is a lovely lariat necklace I have created using gunmetal plated steel flattened drawn cable chain and accenting it with dark purple glass pearls. I have used gunmetal plated headpins with ball heads to wire wrap each pearl individually to the chain.

I have shown two different ways that you can wear this necklace. In picture #2, my mannequin Molly is wearing the necklace with a simple knot tied in the midst of the pearls. The pearls will hold the knot exactly where you tie it.

In picture #3, Molly shows the necklace worn as a shorter lariat. The middle of the necklace is placed at the front of your neck, then wrap the necklace around your neck and back to the front. Now tie a simple knot and you have a shorter necklace. You may want to catch the chain from the 1st wrap in the knot you tie, so that the necklace knot stays in place.

The lariat is approximately 40 inches (101.6 cm) in length. The pearls are 8mm in size.
