The Carolina Finger Tapper is a pine old folk style rhythm instrument. It is 9.5"-10" long. This is a new design of this old folk instrument that incorporates a brass screw for setting tension to improve the action. As a kid growing up in the North Carolina foothills we would make traditional folk instruments from a variety of woods found around the homestead. We called these instruments Finger Tappers..

They are played much like one would play spoons. It really has quite a nice rhythm sound and appearance. It is very easy to play and produces a sound similar to a spoon player. It is addictive once you start.

This Finger Tapper is a Special Order Instrument. Stock Photographs are used in this listing. Your Finger Tapper may have a different grain pattern and wood shade.
