For a while now I have been experimenting with making a more contemporary style resonator membrane. In the past I have always used the old time method with a strip of plastic material. Exactly the same way we did with wax paper when I was a kid.

After testing various materials I have selected a combination that I am totally pleased with. In the future most all my kazoos will use this new resonator membrane. A few of my smaller kazoos will use the traditional old time resonator membranes.

I will be including one replacement resonator membrane with each kazoo purchased. Additional membranes can be purchased at 4 for $3.50 which includes shipping cost to US Destnations.

I wanted to introduce this new resonator to the Aswego Kazoo but at the same time I wanted to keep the Aswego Kazoo handmade as much as possible.

Paper and Plastic Material

These resonator membranes are designed specifically for Aswego Kazoos. They may fit others but that is not guranteed.
