This is an Aswego Do It Yourself Kazoo Kit ready for you to finish shaping, All the holes have been drilled and it has been lightly sanded and ready for you to shape to your own design. This kazoo kit includes a 6" red cedar kazoo body, teak resonator cap, two (2) brass screws and two (2) resonator membranes. All you really need to finish this kazoo is sand paper. If you want to really express yourself prehaps a pocket knife or even a wood carving knife.

This is a great project kazoo guranteed to bring hours of pleasure without the work of drilling all the holes. This is a kazoo that you can truly make "your own". There is nothing more relaxing than hand working wood and nothing more pleasing than seeing the final results.

The other day I was in the workshop working on some new kazoos. After roughing in five kazoos the thought hit me of how much fun it would be to for some people to actually shape their kazoo the way they wanted and feel the satisfaction of taking a block of wood and turning it into a one of a kind folk instrument of their own creation without have to deal with drilling the holes.

Being handmade each of my kazoos are unique and there will be some difference in wood color and grain pattern. I do not make "cookie cutter" kazoos. Each Aswego Kazoo is a one of a kind primitive style folk instrument. No two kazoos are ever exactly identical. This is what makes them an original Aswego Kazoo.

There is no charge for these videos. They are freely made with in hope of sharing the beautiful experience of watching the kazoo emerge from a humble piece of wood. My goal is to always be more than a website with a shopping cart. Thanks to video I have been able consistently achieve this goal.
