The Aswego Cherry Picker's Custom Kazoo is a beautiful all cherry wood handmade 4.5" folk kazoo ready made and available for immediate shipment..

The Cherry Picker's Kazoo was designed with all stringed instrument pickers in mind. Banjo, guitar, uke, wash tub bass, diddley bow or any other picked instrument. This kazoo is designed to be played without hands holding it with your mouth while played. There is a brass eyehook on the vent end to attach this kazoo to a neck lanyard. Lanyard is not included. This kazoo has a powerful voice and a beautiful high to low range. It is quite capable of maintaining it's own sound space when performering with other acoustic instruments and vocals.

This particular Cherry Picker's Kazoo is the first of this design and is signed with serial number 001 beneath the resonator cap. This is an all cherry wood kazoo with a beautiful grain pattern, golden wood tone and a unique knot hole in one side. Don't let the size of this kazoo fool you. This extraordinary kazoo will definitely stand out in a crowd in both terms of sound and looks.

If you are a performing picker on stage or in the back yard jamming with friends on a Saturday afternoon this kazoo will fit the bill in all respects.

Last week I made a visit to my local sawmill to place an order for some wood and picked up this beautiful cherry wood that was harvested locally by a sawmill customer who wanted it milled for use in a furniture project.

Knowing I would love this wood the sawmill owner, Bob, milled three pieces of this beautiful wood for me and I am so glad that he did. This is some of the most beautiful wood I have seen in some time. I love visiting the sawmill every month or so because I never know what new and different wood Bob will have set aside for me
