This is a one of a kind Old World Postcard Ceramic Santa that I hand painted in 1991. Santa is sitting on a bench with two children, a boy and girl on his lap, and a bag of toys at his feet. The main colors in this piece are green, blue, and red. I received this piece in raw state and carved all the seams and imperfections, and smoothed them out. The piece was then fired, hand painted, antiqued for a primitive look, and coated with a sealing spray to protect it. There is a lot of detail in the Santa and took many hours to finish. I have signed it at the bottom with my name, year, and the name "Postcard Santa". This figurine would be a nice decoration to display during the Christmas season, or anytime of the year. I hope you would enjoy this Santa as much as I have through the years.
