This is a one of a kind Old World Ceramic Santa ornament that I hand painted in 1993. Santa is standing next to a white horse with a little girl on it, and has a basket of toys on his back. The main colors in this piece are brick red and off white. I received this piece in the raw state and carved all the seams and imperfections, and smoothed them out. The piece was then fired, painted, antiqued, and coated with a sealing spray to protect it and give it a nice finish. There is a lot of detail in this ornament. I have signed it at the bottom with my name and the year that I made it. The ornament hangs with a piece of red ribbon that is hot glued on the back. You could also remove the ribbon and use it as a decoration. This ornament is heavier than most and is perfect for those heavier branches. I need to destash some of my things and thought maybe someone could enjoy this as much as I have all these years.
