Black Beach Stone and Sterling Silver Necklace on Figaro Chain

I created this necklace with an black / dark gray oval basalt beach stone from Lake Superior that I hand drilled.

I made the bail and cut out a circle from sterling silver, flattened out a spacer, and riveted it all together. The basalt pendant is hung on a very nice 3mm wide Figaro chain. The chain is 23" long but can be made shorter. Please specify the length you want when ordering.

The necklace closes with a lobster clasp and hooks onto my handmade connector.

Parts of the necklace have been oxidized for a nice patina. This necklace can be worn by a man or a woman. What a nice way to recycle a simple beach stone.

The pendant hangs 1 5/8" below the sterling silver chain and is 15/16" wide.
