Rare White Datolite Jasper Glass Beads and Copper Necklace

Product Description

A beautiful piece of rare White Datolite with a hint of pink is the focal part of this necklace. I used black and gray Jasper beads, black glass beads, red pearls, copper glass beads, copper spacers, and copper wire to create this necklace. I created the bail on the Datolite using copper wire and created some swirls for a pretty design. I strung the beads and Datolite pendant on sturdy beading wire and closed the necklace with my handmade copper clasp. Parts of this necklace are oxidized for a nice patina.

Only the front of the Datolite pendant is polished, and the sides and back show the raw stone. This stone was cut and polished by ginnysart.

Datolite comes from the copper mining areas of Upper Michigan.
