I created this necklace using blue turquoise pieces, bone beads, black glass beads, a handmade copper swirl, and old copper bicone beads. I strung the beads on sturdy beading wire and used black rubber cording for the look of leather. I closed the necklace with a large swivel lobster clasp. I wrapped the turquoise, glass, and bone beads with copper wire and added them to a copper component that I shaped and hammered. I left some of the copper parts shiny and will eventually oxidize on their own.
