This open gourd bowl is created from the bottom of a large kettle gourd. The inside of the gourd has been cleaned out leaving a beautiful natural tan interior. The outside of the bowl has been dyed with a deep red leather dye and covered with a protective gloss finish.

The gourd bowl is approximately 6.75 inches across and 2.75 inches tall.

Once a gourd dries it will last indefinitely. Dried gourds will not rot (assuming they are kept indoors and out of moist environments) and are basically like wood.
