This large dark red gourd has been dyed a rich color using leather dye. The top was cut from the gourd creating a vessel which could hold potpourri, stones, or other decorative items. The removable lid easily lifts on and off of the gourd using the attached real stone.

Gourds, when dried, will last virtually forever when kept out of the elements, just like wood. This gourd has been covered in a protective gloss.

The gourd is approximately 10 1/2 inches by 8 inches in size at the tallest and widest points.
