Make a statement with the bold colors of these Cuprite and Fuchsia Crystal copper earrings. Tiny 4mm Fuchsia Swarovski crystals shimmer as they cascade down against the brilliant turquoise of 12x16mm AA Cuprite with bright ruby colored specks. The earrings have been finished off with handcrafted hypoallergenic niobium marquise shaped ear wires and a gunmetal colored patina.

Niobium is a hypoallergenic metal and can be worn by most people with sensitivities to other metals.

When I first saw the Cuprite stones I'd never heard of the stone but I had to have them. Pictures really can't portray how beautiful this stone is. I couldn't help but laugh when I researched the stone and found it was a minor ore of copper. It seems I just naturally gravitate towards anything copper related.

The brilliant ruby colored specks against the bright turquoise is what caught my eye the most so I knew I wanted to accent it in some way. I really wanted to play up the sparkle in the specks and the fuchsia Swarovski crystals were a perfect color match.
