This ornament is made using a rather interesting tool. The dome is created on an old glass Christmas ball! How's that for recycling????

The base ornament is made using a custom blend of sage green. The "quilt square" is a kaleidoscope cane. The smaller accents are different cuts from the "quilt square" cane. Touches of black and white add just the right amount of contrast. A swirl stamp is used to add texture then a beaded wire hanger adds the finishing touch.

Each ornament is signed and dated. A clear sealant is added for protection. Because these ornaments are handmade, the size may vary slightly but the average is approximately 3 inches across by 1 1/2 inches deep. Because of the unique properties of polymer clay, the ornament is lightweight.
