Each tile in this inspirational piece is handmade and impressed with deeply etched stamps. After curing, a combination of antiquing medium, mica powders, acrylic paints and metallic wax is used to enhance and highlight the designs. Gold, silver or copper leaf is used on some tiles. The individual tiles are then arranged in a pleasing manner and glued to a backing board. Beads are added for a bit of extra punch. This piece is designed with a self easel and measures 3 and 1/2 inches square by 3/4 inches thick..

This piece is for all those Moms who make our lives special. This listing is for one handmade mosaic tile plaque. The colors used in this piece are primarily reds, turquoise and yellow green but custom orders in a different color pallet are available upon request. Another interesting option with this piece is to order it with your Mom's initial. The last picture in this series is a sample made for my sister - who loves dragonflies - and has her initial in the lower right corner.
