Each comes with a clear retractable reel that fits snuggly into a custom made, one-of-a-kind decorative shell and can be ordered as a clip-on or as neck wear on a silk cord with matching beads. Each reel measures 1 and 1/2 inches across and has a clear plastic strap with a snap closure to hang your id badge/scan card on. The reels have a retractable cord that extends up to 3 feet -- so no more bending over to scan your card! Your back will love you! This also makes an excellent gift for anybody who works in a secured workplace or has to wear an id badge.

Reel Jewelry is lightweight and comfortable to wear, either as neck wear or clip on. Every shell is handmade and unique. Custom requests are welcome. Reel Jewelry shells can be made in any color or combination of colors. Everything is done with polymer clay down to the finest details. No paint except for an antiquing medium on a few designs. Again - because of the magic of polymer clay, your Reel Jewelry can be personalized to suit your own individual personality. My favorite designs are often the result of happy accidents when Im working with the clay.

For instance you like the retro design, but you want it in a different color scheme. The retro design is usually made with four colors, but the four colors can be your choice! Or if you like a floral overlay design, you can specify the color of the background and the flowers. I make my own flower canes so I can custom design a Reel Jewelry shell just for you. Maybe one that is dressed up with a charm strikes your fancy but you want it in a different color background.
