Want to add a bit of style to your id badge? I like the versatility of the id badge reel, but lets be real, they just are not very decorative. So what Ive done - through the magic of polymer clay - is to create what I call "Reel Jewelry". A decorative shell conceals the retractable reel and most shells can be ordered either as a clip on or neckware strung on a silk cord with matching or coordinating beads and metal findings.

Because of the properties of polymer clay, Reel Jewelry is lightweight and comfortable to wear. On neckware shells, coordinating grommets provide added strength where the cord comes the decorative shell. An adjustable closure allows you to adjust the length.

The Pop Art series of Reel Jewelry shells come in a variety of color combinations. This shell is made of marbeled shades of blue with green undertones bordered by black with orange dots. The Reel Jewelry shell shown in this picture is a neckware model.
