I love anything with a butterfly on it, so of course I had to create some. I also think every plant needs a friend, and what better than a butterfly!

This listing is for one Red/Gold Petal Cane Butterfly plant poke. The butterfly is 2 and 3/4 inches across and 2 1/4 inches from top to bottom and is handcrafted from polymer clay.

Each butterfly is handmade by me from unwrapping the package of Premo (my preferred brand of polymer clay), through the process of conditioning, color-mixing, adding texture and sculpting to adding beads, shaping and using a chasing hammer to harden wire for the antenna.

After the initial baking, a channel is added to hold the wooden dowel poke. After the second baking, an antiquing medium is applied and the butterfly plant poke is ready to add a touch of whimsey to your favorite plant.
