A lovely yet simple handwoven scarf in alpaca and silk.

Alpaca is some of the more interesting fiber to work with when weaving. Super soft, but prone to becoming scratch if you don't finish it properly, alpaca requires some special attention from the weaver. I love giving special attention to each and every scarf! This scarf is made of a pure alpaca warp (Holding "Taboo" from A Verb For Keeping Warm) and 80/20 alpaca and silk blend in the weft. The color in the weft was particularly chosen to bring out the best in Taboo

The ends of the scarf are secured with a hand-sewn Italian hemstitch. It adds a great accent to the scarf.

As a handmade product, please expect some variation in the cloth.

Scarf dimensions are: 8"x72" (21cm x 184cm)

Care instructions: hand wash in warm water, steam press or warm iron.
