What to do with this real Dinosaur Bone fossil cabachon?! There were touches of red hidden in the brown, so I decided to pull that color out, which then got me to thinking about early man and fire and survival...

This 16 inch necklace of woven seedbeads appears to burn with passion from within with it's sparkling red beads peaking through the brown seed beads.

I've set the dinosaur bone in fine silver imprinted with a lizard like texture and hung it from the rope with Sterling Silver and a lampworked bead from Vicki Lee Studios. The clasp is also handworked in my studio out of sterling silver and centered with another of Vicki Lee's beads and puka shell and red poppy jasper beads.
