The top part of the pendant is made up of two parts. The filigree is aged brass and is folded over to capture a copper dog bone I torch enameled in shades of re and white, creating a mottled sort of pink.

The dangling part of the pendant features an antique button with steel-cuts and textured brass. I've captured it along with a black glass ring in an additional brass filigree. An Austrian crystal heart in fuschia swings on a chain below.

The arrow symbol on the button reminds you that your heart will reunite with your beloved dog at the rainbow bridge where he or she is playing and waiting for you.

The entire pendant is just a tad over 4 inches long.

The neckchain is a vintage rosary style pearl chain with larger pearl bobble at the end. It adjusts up to 23 inches.

For anyone that has ever loved a dog or knows someone who mourns the loss of theirs, I've created this Victorian style mourning necklace.

Creating this necklace was really special to me. It allowed me to not only remember the dogs I've loved and lost, but I stopped many times to hug and pet my two Springers, Moose & Daisy.
