A necklace of red bamboo coral in a tulip shape is combined with mother of pearl both vintage and new. I've hand-tied the mother of pearl on waxed Irish Linen which is extremely durable. I've created a rosary type chain for the red bamboo coral.

I decided to make it asymmetrical to make it even more fun by adding vintage brass leaves and a tiny flower bauble.

The pendant is about 1 inch long and is a vintage brass tulip from my stash. I placed a large vintage mother of pearl bead and faceted Czech glass bead in the center as a surprise for the wearer.

18 inches long with an easy hand-made wire clasp made from bronze wire.

This will be a very limited edition.

Travel inspired. Garden motif.

I was surprised to learn on a recent trip to Turkey that the tulip did not originate in Holland. This necklace is in memory of my awesome trip to Istanbul!
