A truly beautiful lampwork bead is the focal in this necklace. I've topped it with a bead of lepidolite and faceted carnelian. A tassel made from Sterling Silver and tiny Swarovski glass pearls in mauve finish it off with a total length of the pendant being 3 1/2 inches including the handmade Sterling Silver wire bail.

I couldn't believe how well the ryolite beads of green, peach, orange, and lavender went with the lampwork bead. It was as if they were made for each other! I picked up the citrus orange in the lampwork with faceted carnelian and the lavender with the Swarovski mauve pearls.

This necklace is completely adjustable as I've used a hand-dyed silk ribbon to complete the necklace. You may tie it on in a number of ways that will allow you to wear this one-of-a-kind artisan necklace with any type of neckline.

A feminine pretty piece for any occasion, but especially poignant as a gift of remembrance.

I took my inspiration from the beautiful focal lampwork bead by Diane Sepanski.

One of those traditions that I've always participated in and have loved since a kid is purchasing the red paper poppy from the VFW each year for Memorial Day. This necklace is a tribute to that tradition and in remembrance of all the courageous men and women who have served our country and our allies.
