Miniature Horse Painting Bolo Tie with Sterling Silver and Gold Plate

Product Description
A original watercolor pencil miniature of two lively horses is the focal piece of this southwest themed bolo tie. The bolo is accented with sterling silver tips decorated with attached Native American made sterling silver charms by Navajo artist Ray Jack. Each charm has a hand cut rearing horse figure made from 12k gold overlay and the sterling silver is hallmarked for authenticity.

The title of this original bolo design art is "Hi Ho Silver and Gold". The painting has a palomino horse rearing next to a noble prancing silver gray horse. The background color is a mix of oranges and warm reds, I wanted to create a flow of powerful graceful energy around the horses.

The miniature painting is on a 2.25" diameter canvas button. It's an original tiny painting, not a print. The bolo tie measures approx. 40" from bottom of charm to other charm so will adjust to fit over most heads and can be adjusted to wear at any snugness desired. The bolo tie adjust by pressing the back toggle of the cord slider down and pulling the cord. I adjust by pinching the toggle against the painting button.

The 12k gold overlay rearing horse charms are 1" in length and are by Navajo artist Ray Jack. They are hallmarked on the back of each charm with RJ, sterling and 12k gold overlay. Please note that the pictures do not display how really shiny and silver the charms are, they are showing a lot of reflection in the photos.

The miniature painting has had many coats of two varnishes applied but should be protected against wetness or solvents. Painting is not waterproof. Please take care from getting any water or sprays on the painting, silver or leather.

If you have any questions, please don't be shy about asking! I usually answer the same day.

Thank you and God Bless! Connie
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
Why a bolo tie? I have long admired the fantastic bolo jewelry by native american artists. So when I got involved painting the miniature canvas buttons it was a natural progression to see a bolo tie design! What's more of a southwest jewelry design than the bolo tie? It's not just for men either.
