Product Description
This unique 23" necklace design is called Skydog Gallop and is part of my showcase series. First the pendant, an original miniature watercolor painting on a 2.25 canvas pendant of a black grey horse galloping across the southwest desert. This painting is finely detailed as a stand alone piece of original minature art. Secondly, each running horse charm is crafted by Navajo artist Irwin Gene, in the Hopi style of sterling silver overlay. The running horses have a geometric pattern of overlay oxidized cutout design, each charm is hallmarked on back by the artist. Third, the sterling silver beading, a combination of fluted round seamed beads (Native American made in USA), melon and smaller round beads, the charm framing is tiny sterling silver seed beads with approx. 1" sterling silver bars, and the necklace is finished with cones, secure screw in crimps and an original artisan handmade sterling silver S clasp connected with sterling silver rings. This necklace is a bold piece of original design jewelry! More pictures will be available soon! Thank you!
