This necklace features a 1.5" miniature original watercolor painting of a hard working buckaroo laying out a loop of lasso getting ready for the roundup. There is a difference between a buckaroo and a cowboy in the west, just ask someone who calls themselves a buckaroo! The approx. 19" long necklace is strung with silver plated melon shape beads, brown real leather beads and lovely natural Fox turquoise nugget beads. One of my favorites in my "Slap Leather!" jewelry designs is this tiny painting of a hard working Buckaroo. There's quite a culture surrounding the modern day buckaroo; from history, style of dress, method of horsemanship and part of the country from which someone call themselves Buckaroo. But not a cowboy, LOL!
