A grey galloping horse shines in the desert in this tiny miniature watercolor original painting pendant, which is complimented with two strands of high quality beads of labradorite heishi and round sunstone. This unique necklace of my original design, is a generous 24" long and has a dual clasps, the necklace can be taken apart from either the right or left side.

The black braided leather cord, approx. 18", is a comfortable 6 mm thickness and of good quality leather. I've used sterling silver ring attachments for the very unique silver plated screw in clasps. These clasps are vintage french origin silver plated with a design that is very Native American style! The beading I used is A grade quality labradorite heishi and 8 round sunstone 8mm beads, the end sunstone beads capped with lovely sterling silver bead caps.

This necklace design is ideal to wear with collared shirts, like a polo shirt, because the leather cord lays under the collar and the gemstones and painting pendant shows out of the collar. So none of the lovely gemstones are hidden underneath a collar.

The watercolor painting pendant is 2.25" diameter handpainted by myself original canvas miniature painting. I call this painting pendant necklace design "Desert Jewel". I have added many coats of varnish to protect the painting but the pendant is *not* waterproof so please take care when wearing this original miniature art. This necklace will come in it's own presentation box for keepsake and protection.

Sometimes I have a desire to create designs that are very unusual but yet practical. This necklace is a first, easy to take on and off from the front, can be easily worn with collared shirts with the jeweled part not hidden by clothes, and yet still have a beautiful southwest style!
