This lampwork focal bead is made with "bullseye" glass, they have the prettiest pinks! I added a "ghostly" milky glass throughout the bead for an extra bit of detail.

This lampwork focal bead is wound on a 1/16 mandrel. The size of the bead is approx. 25mm across, approx. 1 inch. The penny is in the photo so you can get a visual size comparison.

All of my lampwork beads are kiln annealed right out of the flame, it gives them extra strength and durability! I am very meticulous about making sure there are little or no "bubbles" in my lampwork glass beads. Some types of glass are just prone to bubbles but I do try and minimize those as I work. I clean the bead release out with a diamond drill bit dremel and bathe them in hot soapy water so they are squeaky clean when you get them!
