A pack of ten (10) 1953 (specifically Tuesday June 23rd 1953!) transfer tickets stubs from the LA Transit Line Streetcars.....the W line, inbound, South on Broadway.

The detail on these passenger stubs is probably the reason the LA Transit system turned into such a mess! They printed these tickets EVERY single day, for dozens of bus, street car, and train lines, all around the City of Angels.

Even in 1953 LA was a huge city, serving thousands of people a day via public transportation. The daily printing costs must have been staggering!

These lovely little ticket stubs measure 1 3/4" x 2" and have that beautiful sepia patine that paper gets with age, and exposure to light.
