* 3" x 5" x 3/8" thick (7.62 cm x 12.7 cm x .95 cm) clear art glass paperweight with a polished edge

* Pair of Chinese dragons accented with an Oriental theme

* Sand carved on the back and also etched on the front of the glass for an added 3d effect

* International shipping is available - see below about pricing

Placing the glass paperweight against a dark background or edge lighting it on a base (picture 1) allows the frosted image to glow characterizing how light is captured and refracts through etched glass. It becomes a great conversation piece or accent in your home interior design or a personal inspiration displayed on your work desktop area.

Some suggested gift ideas might be a thank you to the groomsman's wedding party, graduations, or birthdays.

I have one in stock and others can be made to order. I can make a new one with less than a week lead time.

This is an art piece that can be functional as a paperweight. Though it is fairly sturdy, please keep in mind the material is glass and can be scratched or broken just as easily without proper care.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

Strong powerful dragons are wrapped inside delicate feminine accents to balance a gender of yin and yang. Apart from today's economical view of China this brings back the traditional and mystical side of it's culture.

A great conversation starter with it's intricate detail and symbolic meaning.

If for some reason you are truly not satisfied with any item, please contact me within 7 days of receiving it. Please inform me of broken items within 3 days of receiving it to get the process started on replacements or refunds.

- Item(s) must be returned in the same packaging and condition as it was sent. Pictures sent of the item in question should be sent as is to help verify how it was received, too.

- The buyer is responsible for any return shipping costs - excludes damaged or SNAD items. Also, if an exchange is agreed upon, shipping and price variants may be included or paid by the buyer depending on the situation.

- Custom pieces that can not be resold are non-refundable. This is determined by specific designs that may include personalization or other aspects to the piece that are specific to the buyer.

- Damaged items may be replaceable depending on the piece and the documentation of the damage ensued. I ask that you inspect it once you get it, but I offer 7 days to be comfortable with your purchase and to report these damages to me where I can start a claims process if necessary. Due to the fact that some pieces are functional art, please be aware of the glass material before using them as such. If you choose to use it any other way than viewing it as a decorative art piece, I can not guarantee any inflicted damages.

- Lost in shipping items will have a claim filed if a sufficient amount of time has passed to consider it lost. A new replacement may be made or a refund will be issued depending on the piece and circumstances.

- Under certain circumstances, if a piece does arrive not in the way it was described or it was damaged, please send a pic showing the details if possible, and I will try to work with you to accommodate for a new piece or a refund.

* First, contact me with your ideas for a custom art glass design.

* Once it is agreed upon to do the work I ask for a 50% commitment on most work and remaining payment due when your item(s) is ready to ship. This will be listed and reserved for you and found in the marked section for reserved items.

* If it is specific to you alone and determined that it could not be sold to others easily, I may ask for a full payment before full production. This is usually a result of one-of-a-kind pieces with personalization.

* Made to order pieces usually have a lead time of less than a week.

- The first step is to contact me to discuss the specifics of the job(i.e. size, subject matter, times, cost, how it can be translated into glass, etc.)

- I will provide initial sketches without obligation - all designs remain property and copyright to me and my studio. Once it has been approved and payment has been made, I will send images of the final piece as it's completed and ship it out ASAP on approval. Any changes at this point will be difficult if not impossible to make. Adding something as an afterthought - if it can be done - may require an interim payment before it is reworked.

- Most often the design is created and then glass is ordered, cut, etc according to what is needed. The glass is prepped and the design is laid out accordingly. It is sandblasted, checked, and then peeled and cleaned then re-checked.

- Adding elements such as names, monograms, etc. to an existing design are considered Special Orders, and I will list a reserve for you. Costs will vary on the complexity of any design.

- As a custom piece, once the piece has been started, the downpayment becomes non-refundable. Also, once the piece is finished, a listing will be made (located under the section Custom Order Pickups), and the piece will be shipped once the payment is cleared and within my standard 2 business day time frame.

- Times will vary on any special order depending on the complexity of the design and workload. I will do my best to do things in a reasonable time frame and keep you aprised of any delays and reasons that may come about that is more than expected.

- Adding quantities of an item that is available will be listed at the same price of in-stock items. I don't mass produce, but can accommodate larger orders with longer lead times as long as I have enough advanced notice for any ordering needed and time to create it. Some designs are retired and will be limited to its production.

My artwork is not machine stamped. Any design that is reproduced is still created individually and retains a unique quality. They are meant to be art pieces. Coasters and paperweights are decorative yet functional art glass that can be used under normal conditions. I recommend that you view them as an art piece first taking caution as you lay them out where they may become scratched or broken.
