This special Mother and Daughter (child) Dress set includes 2 patterns that are normally sold separately.

Pattern 1 (Mother):

This great looking cabled dress is worked from the neck down, which allows the knitter to adjust the length if required. The back and front yokes are knit separately, then joined at the underarms and worked in the round to the end. The middle front panel lends itself to decorating with beads, embroidery, appliqué, needle-felting or crocheted accents.

A garter stitch edging is worked on the neck, armholes and bottom at the same time as the dress is knit, which leaves only the shoulders to finish with a 3-needle bind-off.

This little girl's dress knits up very nicely with only the shoulders to finish at the end. The cables, neckline and sleeveless styling give it simple versatility, so wear it as a sun-dress or matched with a top. Look for our Sandra pattern, the adult version of this lovely dress.
