Roomy, multi-purpose and in a natural linen fiber, this linen bag can go in the washing machine after carrying home your goodies! Velcro is used to hold the top casing in place, so that whether you use a ready-made handle or knit the optional handles with dowels the bag is easily washed.

Yarn Requirements

Euroflax 100% Wet Spun Linen
100 gram skein / 150 yds
Bulky / Chunky Wt. (Bulky #5)

Needles and Materials
5.5 mm straight needles
5.5 mm circular needle (60 cm)
8.0 mm straight needles
8.0 mm circular needle (60 cm)
2 feet of Velcro
2 feet of 5/16 inch dowel (optional)
4 wooden beads to fit onto ends of dowel (optional)
store bought wooden handles (optional)

Gauge

11 sts & 20 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on smaller needle.
