Using Gems Chunky weight yarn, these fingerless mitts and hat knit up very quickly. Irregular ribbing combined with an 8 stitch cable adds interest to both the mitts and the cuff on the hat.

Yarn Requirements

Gems 100% Merino Wool
100 gram skein / 103 yds
Bulky / Chunky Wt. (Bulky #5)

Needles and Materials

Set of four 5.5 mm double-pointed needles (hat)
5.5 mm circular needle (40 cm) (hat)
6.0 mm circular needle (40 cm) (hat)
Set of four 6.0 mm double-pointed needles (mitts)
cable needle
stitch holder

Gauge

18 sts & 20 rows = 4 inches in pattern on larger needle
