Pattern - Mother and Daughter Hats

Designed for both mother and daughter these quick and easy hats are knit entirely in the round. Using knit stitches, the shape is achieved by changing needle sizes.

Using our colorful, boucle yarn, Clyde, they can also be knit in our Bonnie yarn or in a combination of both. The hats can be easily adjusted to fit any head size.

Yarn Requirements

Clyde 89% Wool / 11% Silk
50 gram skein / 82 yds
Bulky / Chunky Wt. (Bulky #5)

Needles and Materials

6.0 mm circular needle (40 cm)
4.5 mm circular needle (40 cm)
5.0 mm circular needle (40 cm)
5.0 mm double-pointed needles (set of 4)

Gauge

10 sts & 18 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on 6.0 mm needle


For the daughter's hat only 1 skeins is required, for the mother's hat 2 skeins are required
