Sterling silver wraps organically around a black tourmaline bead atop an earthy brown and red rough cut faceted garnet.

This pendant needs a long necklace, so that it may swing independently to reveal it's many interesting sides.

This pendant grew out of the ugly duckling challenge on National Craft Making Month. The challenge was to use things that were cluttering up your craft space. I had several wonderful wire ends from various wrapping projects and combined them into a free-floating pendant maximizing the beauty of this garnet.

The wrap brings to mind the swirling waters of the ocean as the tide flows around rocky outcroppings.
