This turquoise is from the Old #8 Mine in Nevada. The turquoise mine went away when gold was found around 1975. It produced beautiful turquoise from 1929 until 1975. It is very rare in gem quality and is highly collectable. This cab is about 18x13x5mm (25mm=1").

I fabricated the ring from flat stock and round wire. All sterling silver. All done with hand files. The band 3/8" wide and was cut from 16ga thick sheet. Because the band is wide, it does not have to be tight on your finger to stay in place. The ring is quite comfortable.

The ring is 14 grams....heavy.

Size is 10.25. To size this ring I need to remove the stone and take the ring apart.... rebulid it. Contact me for the time required to do that. No cost for a different size.
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
I have owned this stone for about 40 years. It was purchased at the Golden Gate Gem & Mineral Show in San Francisco California in the early 1970's. Never been set. But I spent many hours just looking at it. A very rare gem.
