A cotton print fabric, satin ribbons and metallic ribbon trims adorn this martingale collar and leash combination for an Italian greyhound or similar size dog. It is fully lined with the same cotton print fabric over a soft fleece padding. The collar base is made of 600lb test poypropylene webbing. The leash part is of 3/4 inch webbing about 6 ft long. The collar section is 1 1/2 inches wide and about 9 1/2 inches from ring tip to ring tip. This will fit a small dog with a neck size of about 10 or 10 1/2 to 11 inches.
A walking lead is a collar leash combination constructed as a single unit. The leash is not detachable. The collar section slips over your dog's head and the small plastic ring on the leash slides up or down to adjust for a proper fit. Please note in Candy's picture how this works.

A Word of Caution

All of my leads and collars are fairly wide and well padded. But, be careful of using any type of collar on tiny, delicate dogs. Some breeds of small dogs, particularly Italian greyhounds are highly susceptable to throat injury. If your little guy pulls or struggles in a collar, he could injure himself. For these types of dogs, a harness or harness vest may be a safer alternative. Artfire is an excellent source of custom-made little-dog clothing designed specifically for this purpose.
